Tim’s career embodies the very best of Colorado’s charter movement — exceptional leadership, a deep commitment to students, and the ability to strengthen schools both academically and operationally. Over more than two decades, he has consistently elevated student outcomes, developed high-performing teams, and improved the long-term health of every organization he has led, all while empowering future leaders through effective leadership training and youth leadership programs.
Tim brings a deep understanding of charter law, state statutes, fiscal stewardship, and JeffCo policy, using that expertise to respectfully champion the value charters provide to the district and to the families who choose them. His student-centered philosophy guides every decision he makes, ensuring that programs, policies, and resources always support what matters most—student success.
He transformed Woodrow Wilson Academy, supported 11,000 students as a Jeffco Community Superintendent, moved on to lead Jefferson Academy, and served on the League’s board.
